To celebrate the milestone, the restaurant is planning to sell 5,000 BBQ pork sandwiches in just 8 hours as part of a Guinness World Record attempt. Sandwiches will be available all day for 95¢ each, with a limit of 10 per customer.
The restaurant extended an open invitation to the public through its Facebook page.
The celebration will include:
– 95¢ BBQ pork sandwiches
– Live music and a DJ
– A bouncy house and family-friendly activities
– Cold drinks, sweet tea, and traditional barbecue fare
– Photo opportunities, giveaways, and additional surprises
Organizers say the day is not just about food—it’s a way for the community to take part in a historic moment for the restaurant and the city.
The celebration is a chance for locals and visitors alike to support a beloved local business—and be part of a potential world record, one sandwich at a time.
