ChurchStreet Family Hospitality is excited to introduce A Growers Touch from Australia to the United States of America, through ChurchStreet Wine Bar & Bottle shoppe in Providence – Huntsville, Alabama.

Tasting for the first time ever in the USA, A Growers Touch, focuses on the production of more traditional & classic varietals, all grown locally out of the Riverina and by farmers who we have worked with for two decades. The label offers credit to the farmers responsible for growing the grapes. It showcases local fruit & places emphasis on the importance of ‘terroir’.

“The Australian wine market is a fast-moving industry and the general consumer is becoming more open and accepting to foreign wine varietals. The young wine drinking population are a generation of adventurers with open minds and open hearts and we plan on pushing the boundaries of the industry and capturing the minds and hearts of the consumer with our wines” says Alain Guglielmino, Operations Manager at The Winery.

“The wine industry in Australia is flooded with traditional wine labels and typical well-known varietals. We believe an effective measure to differentiate us as quality producers against the larger wineries, is to explore this new wave scene while the consumers are open to it. I think the boom in the craft beer scene on the domestic market is a great example of this” adds Nicholas Guglielmino, Business Development Manager at The Winery.

Church Street Family Hospitality partnered with Beverage Services USA to compete for the chance to debut this wine from Australia in the United States. ChurchStreet has a proven track-record of successfully introducing and launching new wines into the state and now the country. A Growers Touch is the second such launch for ChurchStreet Family as they debuted Greenock Wines from Australia last June 2021, with great success and will soon be available across the US, coast to coast.

Stephanie comments “We will exclusively be pouring A Growers Touch wines all weekend long at our newest venture in Providence, which officially opened its doors on May 5th 2022 as well as all ChurchStreet Family locations – ChurchStreet Wine Shoppe Downtown, Purveyor Huntsville, Mazzara’s Vinoteca, Sea Salt Urban Oyster Bar, Pourhouse and Catacomb435”.

Matt and Stephanie from Church Street Family said “We are so excited to be chosen to introduce A Growers Touch wines with Mino & Co into the USA. It is an honor to be the US ambassadors for this exciting Australian wine, knowing they could’ve chosen anyone in the US to represent their brand and they chose us is humbling, we do not take this trust lightly”.
