Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines—your boat engines that is. On Saturday May 15, Russell Medical is hosting a scavenger hunt on Lake Martin for anyone who would like to participate in a safe, socially distant activity.

This on-the-water scavenger hunt will take teams all over the lake to hunt down clues and win big. You’ll visit Lake Martin landmarks, upload pictures, find QR codes hidden around the lake, and answer trivia questions, all in an effort to take home the grand prize. Preregistered teams will download the Scavify app to participate and will receive instructions on the morning of the hunt. Each team will also be given a physical logo that will be required to use in the photos to ensure authenticity and that there is no cheating.

The three teams who accumulate the most points will get a prize. The first place team will win $1,000, second place will get $750, and third place will get $500.

To register your team, visit russellmedicalfoundation.org/scavengerhunt. Registration per team is $150, and you are allowed to have as many people on your team that will safely fit in your boat.

All proceeds raised from the registration fee will benefit the Russell Medical Foundation. Established in 1988, Russell Medical Foundation operates exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes to enhance the quality of life for those served by Russell Medical.

You’ll be able to pick up your logo and two free event t-shirts at The Ridge Marina on May 15 between 8 a.m.–10 a.m. The scavenger hunt officially begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. May the best team win!
