The Regions Tradition Golf Tournament is more than a showcase of international golf talent–it’s a celebration of the people and businesses that make up Alabama communities. As one of the most anticipated events on the PGA TOUR Champions calendar, the tournament brings thousands of fans to the greater Birmingham area each year. And while the action on the course is world-class, so is the food.

Regions Bank’s deep-rooted commitment to supporting local businesses truly sets it apart from other financial institutions. Through initiatives like showcasing local vendors at major events such as the Regions Tradition, Regions demonstrates a hands-on, relationship-driven approach to community support. This dedication not only strengthens the regional economy, but also reflects a genuine care of the people and places the bank serves.

“Small businesses are the economic heartbeat of our communities, and when we invest in their success, we’re investing in a stronger economy and quality of life, benefiting people across the region,” says John Jordan, Head of Retail for Regions Bank.

Nowhere is this more evident than in Regions’ support of Birmingham’s local food scene, where the bank continues to create meaningful opportunities for culinary entrepreneurs to grow, thrive, and connect with the community.

This year, fans enjoyed an incredible food and beverage selection at the Coca-Cola Spectator Village, where a lineup of beloved local food trucks served up Birmingham’s favorite bites. Among them were Wasabi Juan’s, known for its bold and inventive sushi burritos that fuse Mexican and Asian flavors, along with other sharable snacks like nachos, edamame, and a sweet and savory mango slaw.

Eugene’s Hot Chicken brought the heat to the Regions Tradition with a menu packed with fan favorites, such as their signature hot chicken sandwiches with all the Southern fixings. Krazy Good BBQ served up pulled pork sandwiches with classic barbeque sides, and Slice brought their wood-fired artisan pizzas to the green with creative flavors like the Spicy Hawaiian, topped with grilled pineapple and jalapenos.

Between the local food trucks and the lively energy of sponsor tents offering games and prizes, the Coca-Cola Spectator Village delivered a dynamic, unforgettable fan experience.

Regions Bank, the tournament’s title sponsor, is proud to spotlight these small businesses as part of its long-standing commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs. By partnering with homegrown vendors and giving them a platform at one of the Southeast’s premier sporting events, Regions helps foster growth, visibility, and community pride. This initiative reflects the bank’s broader mission to uplift the communities it serves–not just through financial services, but by creating real opportunities for local success.

With top-tier golf, authentic local flavor, and a shared sense of community, the Regions Tradition is certainly more than a tournament; it’s a celebration of Southern hospitality and the local businesses that bring Alabama to life.
