MOB Music Fest, Mobile

More than just a weekend of live music, the MOB Music Festival is a celebration of Gulf Coast creativity. Hosted by Opportunity 4 Entertainers & Performing Arts, the nonprofit festival gives emerging musicians a platform to perform, make professional connections and grow their careers while bringing the community together through music. Expect three days of performances spanning indie, country, gospel, jazz, hip-hop, blues and more, plus local vendors and family-friendly fun in downtown Mobile.
50th World Championship Domino Tournament, Andalusia
July 10th–11th
More than 300 players from across the country will gather in Andalusia for the 50th World Championship Domino Tournament, a two-day event centered on friendly competition, fellowship, and tradition. With games beginning at 8 a.m. each day, participants will compete for over $20,000 in cash prizes and trophies in a tournament that has long been a summer staple in the community. Registration and check-in begin at 7 a.m., with the championship always held the second weekend in July.
Legacy Arena 50th Anniversary Celebration, Birmingham

Celebrate 50 years of one of Birmingham’s most iconic venues at this free community celebration at Legacy Arena. The afternoon features food trucks, family-friendly activities, backstage tours, interactive art, commemorative exhibits and exclusive anniversary swag before the evening wraps up with a free concert by The Black Jacket Symphony, performing songs made famous by legendary artists who’ve taken the Legacy Arena stage over the past five decades.
