Alexander City Sun Festival-Lake Martin

Alexander City will be hosting eight days of hometown fun for the 14th Annual Sun Festival. Taking place June 5-12, the community celebration will feature live music, family-friendly activities, local flavors, and signature events that showcase all that Lake Martin has to offer. This is the perfect opportunity to create a new family tradition or a great excuse to just spend a day by the lake. Either way, the Sun Festival is a great way to celebrate summer in Alexander City.

Montgomery Dragon Boat Festival-Montgomery

The Alabama will come alive at the Montgomery Dragon Boat Festival this weekend. Returning for its 12th year on June 13, the festival brings teams from across the region to downtown Montgomery’s Riverfront Park for a day of fast-paced dragon boat racing, community spirit, and waterfront fun. Spectators can cheer on paddlers as they race long, dragon-adorned boats down the river, creating one of the most unique and energetic events on Alabama’s summer calendar. Couples Classic at Robert Trent Jones Grand National-Opelika

Grab your favorite golf partner and head to Opelika for the RTJ Couples Classic. Taking place June 8th-10th at Grand National on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, this three-day event combines championship golf with resort-style accommodations, hosted meals, and social gatherings.
