For many Alabamians, New Year’s Eve is less about countdowns and more about a memorable meal. Each of these four restaurants is offering a set menu with carefully paired courses, making it easy to savor a complete, celebratory experience from start to finish. From North Alabama to the Gulf Coast, these standout New Year’s Eve dining experiences are worth a special visit.

Mountain Brook’s Vino is closing out the year with a celebratory four-course prix fixe dinner priced at $95 per person. The Italian-Mediterranean restaurant will serve its New Year’s Eve menu from 4 to 10 p.m., complete with party favors and optional access to regular menu items upon request.
The evening begins with Mediterranean-style hors d’oeuvres upon seating, followed by a choice of starters such as lobster bisque, pan-sautéed portabella and shrimp, or classic Caesar salad. Main course options range from braised rosemary lamb shank with Moroccan couscous to artichoke grouper with farfalle and lemon Pinot Grigio drizzle. A trio of house desserts—including Vino’s well-known apple fritters and Moscato-infused chocolate-covered strawberries—rounds out the experience.
For those dining outdoors, Vino will provide heaters, fire features, and blankets to keep the patio comfortable throughout the evening. Reservations are encouraged due to limited seating.
