You may think you know glamping, but Auburn Glamping’s luxurious 36-ft dome, nestled in the trees on over 22 acres, is unlike anything you’ve seen before. Andrew and Laura Riley have created a truly unique glamping experience for families, couples, and friend groups wanting to connect with the beauty of nature while enjoying the comforts of modern life.

Their 36-ft geodesic dome is one of the largest residential domes in North America and boasts a huge 22-ft window with gorgeous seasonal views. The dome includes a full kitchen, complete with an island that seats six, allowing you to cook your favorite meals. The private master bedroom is equipped with a comfortable king-size bed and organic bedding. A sleek spiral staircase leads to an open loft with two queen beds, a Pac-Man arcade, and a beautiful view overlooking the living area. Relax on the large sectional sofa by a crackling fire, with expansive views that make you feel like you’re floating among the trees.

The interior also includes a full bathroom, with the option to shower indoors using a rain head and wall jets, or to truly immerse yourself in nature with an outdoor shower. Just outside, you’ll find a patio fully equipped for glamping and tailgating. Grill steaks while watching your favorite football team on the outdoor TV. When the sun sets, enjoy roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, or unwind in the hot tub.

“Our dream was to create a beautiful and relaxing retreat for our own family to connect with nature and each other,” said co-owner Laura Riley. “When we saw how amazing this place was becoming, we decided we wanted to share it with other families as well.”

The couple chose land close to Lake Martin and just a short drive from Auburn so they could share these special places with their children. Andrew Riley, who grew up spending time at Lake Martin, and Laura, both Auburn University graduates, look forward to creating family memories in these beloved areas.

With 22 acres of land, the couple has big plans for the future, including expanding the glamping experience with more unique structures.
