From electric vehicle expos to recycling events and educational programs for all ages, there are plenty of ways to get involved and make a positive impact on the environment. Whether you’re a long-time environmental activist or simply looking to learn more about sustainability, these Earth Day events offer something for everyone. In this round-up, we highlight four of our favorite Earth Day events happening across the state, all focused on promoting eco-friendly practices and raising awareness about the importance of protecting our God-given planet.

Drive Electric Earth Day – Birmingham, AL

Owners of Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, Rivian, BMW iX and many more will be on hand to answer questions about their vehicles’ comfort, range, price and more at Saturday’s  Drive Electric Alabama Earth Day Electric Vehicle Showcase at The Market at Pepper Place in Birmingham.

“Many people still have questions about EVs, and the people who own and drive them have the answers,” said Mark Bentley, Executive Director of the Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition, one of the event’s organizers. “This is an easy way to learn more about EVs, which give off zero emissions, are economical to drive and contribute to the creation of high-paying jobs here in Alabama.”
