The Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce is bringing back one of its most beloved gatherings this fall. On Sunday, October 19th, from 4:00–8:00 p.m., Crestline Village will once again transform into a lively dining destination for the second annual Harvest on Hoyt.

Presented by Finch Fine Wines, the event brings neighbors together for a seasonal evening of food and community. It begins with a happy hour from 4:00–5:00 p.m., followed by a four-course dinner prepared by Chef Chris Melville and his team at Dyron’s Lowcountry. Guests will dine at a communal table along Hoyt Lane, with wine pairings, live music, and the charm of an Alabama autumn evening as the backdrop. As the evening winds down, guests will leave with sweet take-home treats courtesy of Daughter’s Baking.

“As far as cooking for Harvest on Hoyt, I consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to engage with and serve the community in a novel and exciting way,” said Chef Melville. “There’s something profoundly moving about seeing a block full of communal tables followed by conviviality, conversation, and the breaking of bread. Gathering together at the table—the world needs more of this.”

While Harvest on Hoyt is an evening of celebration, it’s also an evening of purpose. Proceeds benefit the Leadership Mountain Brook Class, a program that empowers students to create projects that enhance the city. Previous initiatives have included Spartan Square bricks at City Hall, a half-acre dog park, improved welcome signage, and a colorful mural at the local baseball fields.

“This event is truly about celebrating what makes Mountain Brook special–our people, our businesses, and our commitment to our community,” said Lizzie Maymon, Executive Director of the Chamber. “By supporting Harvest on Hoyt, attendees are not only enjoying a one-of-a-kind evening but also investing in the next generation of leaders.”

Harvest on Hoyt offers locals the perfect opportunity to savor the season’s harvest while giving back to the community. With fine wine, exceptional food, and neighbors gathered around a beautiful meal, it promises to be one of the most memorable evenings of the season.
