The wait is over: Little Betty Sea Bar is now open. The newest concept from Revival Restaurant Group officially welcomed guests on March 10, 2026, in Mountain Brook, Alabama. Located directly next door—and seamlessly connected—to the celebrated Little Betty Steak Bar, Sea Bar is a love letter to the coast, bringing together pristine seafood, Japanese technique, and premium wagyu in a refined yet playful setting.
Originally envisioned as a natural extension of Little Betty, Sea Bar was born from the desire to fully realize a seafood-driven concept that deserved its own stage.
“This concept was always part of the plan,” said Jamey Shirah, CEO of Revival Restaurant Group. “Now, we’re thrilled to bring that vision to life in a way that gives it the space, identity, and culinary focus it deserves—while also allowing us to better accommodate private dining and events the Mountain Brook community has consistently asked for.”
A global culinary lens

Led by Executive Chef Kyle Biddy, Sea Bar’s menu balances precision and boldness, drawing inspiration from coastal Italy and Japan while spotlighting world-class ingredients.
A rotating oyster menu anchors the raw bar, with selections freshly shucked and served with fermented “sriracha”-style hot sauce, mignonette, and crackers. The daily lineup highlights standout coastal farms such as Divine Pines from North Carolina’s Top Sail Sound and Shigoku oysters from Samish Bay, Washington.
Beyond oysters, the menu leans into both refined raw preparations and table side moments that aren’t short on drama. Highlights include the Caviar Crispy Rice Cake, a two-piece starter featuring Koshihikari rice topped with kaluga caviar and egg yolk, as well as an array of raw selections including five varieties of nigiri and dishes like Tuna Veil Crudo, layered with tamari ponzu, hearth-embered cucumber, lime, smoked aioli, avocado mousse, chili oil jam, and chives.
A dinner with flair
Showmanship also plays a role in the dining experience. The A5 Wagyu Hot Rock arrives tableside as a center-cut striploin prepared in aburi style, allowing guests to sear the beef themselves before finishing it with truffle tamari ponzu.

Entrées continue the blend of coastal influence and bold flavor, including the Five Spice Crispy Duck Leg, served confit-style with barbecue glaze, five spice, and black garlic, and a Whole Crispy Branzino accented with winter citrus, cilantro, basil, mint, scallions, and Thai chile dressing. The kitchen also incorporates Japanese pantry staples like furikake, sushi rice, and nori to add texture and depth throughout the menu.
“Sea Bar is about showcasing exceptional ingredients through thoughtful technique,” Shirah said. “From raw bar selections to premium wagyu, every dish is designed to feel both elevated and inviting.”
The beverage program reflects the same coastal sensibility, with a wine list curated specifically to complement seafood and raw preparations, alongside a lineup of creative cocktails that are fresh, vibrant, and full of character.
A sophisticated space
Designed by Helen Hanavich, Sea Bar offers the perfect yin to Little Betty’s yang. Where Little Betty embraces a rich, moody steakhouse aesthetic, Sea Bar is light, airy, and feminine, with a palette of blush, green, red, and tan tones. The result is a beautifully designed space that feels both sophisticated and welcoming—crafted for a flowing, shareable dining experience.
Located adjacent to Little Betty and connected through a shared commitment to hospitality, Sea Bar was built for both culinary credibility and guest experience. Together, the two restaurants represent a balanced duo—steak and seafood, dark and light, bold and bright—each standing confidently on its own while complementing the other.

“This is not a scaled-down version of what we’ve already built,” Shirah added. “Sea Bar stands on equal footing with Little Betty when it comes to quality, design, and service. It’s simply the seafood side of the experience—equally refined, incredibly vibrant, and always welcoming.”
Now open, Little Betty Sea Bar is expected to become Mountain Brook’s newest destination for everything from intimate date nights to celebratory gatherings.
With its opening, Little Betty Sea Bar joins a dynamic and fast-evolving culinary landscape in Birmingham. The restaurant arrives at a time when the city’s chefs and restaurateurs continue to earn national attention for their creativity and commitment to hospitality, placing Sea Bar in good company among Birmingham’s growing roster of acclaimed culinary talent.
