Thousands of Alabamians gathered in the fall of 2021 for the wildly successful Rock The South festival, and it has been a highly anticipated event ever since. In an exciting development, the producers of the Rock The South festival have just announced their most recent venture, Rock The Country – a festival for the people. Seven massive shows coming to seven small towns, Rock The Country is sure to impress with a lineup stacked with country superstars alongside current country music favorites.

The two names drawing the most attention are the festival’s headliners Jason Aldean and “the original American badass” Kid Rock. Both artists have dedicated followings with Aldean bolstering 28 No. 1 hits and over 18 billion streams with more than 20 million albums sold. Kid Rock, a legend in his own right, has sold over 30 million records worldwide, holds the Michigan record for most tickets sold, with 150,000 for ten consecutive sold-out shows, and currently holds the attendance record at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena with 86,893 attendees in six sold-out shows.

The 2-day festival boasts an incredible lineup of artists from Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hank Williams Jr. to Uncle Kracker and Big & Rich ft. Gretchen Wilson, many of whom will be making their way to small towns across America including Mobile, Alabama. Rock The Country kicks off in April with Aldean and Rock headlining all seven shows. The rest of the lineup will vary by market. The show will bring attendees from across the state in notable numbers and will bring an impressive amount of business to the city of Mobile over the weekend of June 21st and 22nd.

A press release from Rock The Country quoted, “This two-day country music extravaganza will be unlike anything seen before, as it travels to seven cities across the United States, bringing massive shows and unforgettable performances to country music fans in small-town America. Rock The Country is ditching the highways for the back roads and bringing the people who keep America running what they deserve—a little appreciation.”
