Birmingham Restaurant Week
July 30th-August 8th
Birmingham Restaurant Week is back, giving locals an excuse to spend a little more time around the table and explore the city’s food scene along the way. From July 30 through Aug. 8, participating restaurants, bars, food trucks and other local food businesses will offer special menus and drink specials throughout the 10-day celebration. With options ranging from $5 to $60, it is a chance to revisit longtime favorites, try somewhere new and experience the variety of Birmingham’s independently owned dining scene.
Tuscaloosa Margarita Festival — Northport
August 8th
Salt the rim and gather your friends—the Tuscaloosa Margarita Festival is returning to The Venue in Northport on Aug. 8. Local restaurants and bars will compete for the title of best margarita, with guests sampling a variety of creations and casting their votes for a favorite. Beyond the margaritas, expect live music, food vendors, a beer garden and even a chance to win a trip to Mexico, making it an easy recipe for a fun summer Saturday. A portion of the proceeds will benefit children’s charities, so every sip supports a good cause.
TOTO and Christopher Cross — Orange Beach

Get ready for a night of singalong classics on the Alabama coast when TOTO and Christopher Cross take the stage at The Wharf Amphitheater on Aug. 4, joined by special guests The Romantics. Whether you’re belting out “Africa,” “Rosanna” and “Hold the Line” with TOTO or swaying along to Christopher Cross favorites like “Sailing” and “Ride Like the Wind,” this lineup is packed with songs that have stood the test of time. Sandstock 2026 — Orange Beach

Trade your everyday beachwear for tie-dye and flower crowns at Sandstock, Flora-Bama’s annual tribute to the spirit of Woodstock, on Aug. 8.
