Americana nursery

Long before her baby boy arrived, Nicolette DeSocio-Kilgro was dreaming up a nursery filled with the kinds of pieces that tell a story. Inspired by classic Americana and a July due date, she thoughtfully layered vintage-inspired furnishings, meaningful heirlooms, classic patterns, and personalized details to create a warm, inviting space for her son. The finished room feels both polished and personal—a reflection of the memories she hopes to build there.

“I’ve always been drawn to timeless, classic Americana, so when I found out he was due near the Fourth of July, I felt like that was the perfect inspiration for our baby boy’s nursery,” says DeSocio-Kilgro. “I wanted the space to feel nostalgic and collected with heirloom pieces that celebrate the all-American spirit without feeling overly themed. My hope was to create a room that feels warm, traditional, and full of memories from the very beginning.”

Every piece in the nursery was thoughtfully selected to bring that vision to life. From Alabama-made monogrammed linens to vintage-inspired accents and classic furnishings, here’s where each element of the room came from.
